Lisa has always recognised that change comes within democratic systems. She has represented her community at local, state and Commonwealth levels.
Food Security and Climate Change
If we as a nation are serious about addressing climate change, then we need to turn our attention to food production. Lisa is calling on all levels of governments to develop an action plan on tackling food security and the links between climate change and food.

Lisa has worked to engage, support and lead people to make a positive difference in the world. She has been a member of numerous Boards and Committees dedicated to enhancing our community's development, health and wellbeing.

One World, One Health recognises that the health of people and societies is intimately linked and ultimately dependent on the resilience of the world's life-supporting ecosystems.
LGBTQIA+ Rights
Lisa was one of WA Parliament’s first openly gay parliamentarians and has actively consulted with and represented the rights of her LGBTQIA+ constituents ever since.
Elite Sport, inc. Para Dressage
Lisa has the privilege of being an Olympic qualifying equestrian judge for Para Dressage. She is proud to work with para-athletes and their equine partners as they pursue their dreams.
